The Slumbering Seagull

"South of the Old World, the island Peria borders on the Dreaming Sea. Here the old explorer Viari Arona decided to settle down. He built a hermitage not far from shore and named it the Slumbering Seagull. Its namesake was a one-legged seagull that had followed Viari around for years. " - Dreaming Sea Gazetteer

Inspired by the painting "General Garibaldi's Residence at Caprera" (1865) by Frederick Richard Lee and Porco Rosso (1992) from Studio Ghibli, this adventure location could be put in any setting that features a mediterranean-like biome.

The Slumbering Seagull was created for the Pocket Places Jam 2021.
